Mercer County Head Start is currently on schedule with no delays.

Lunch with Mom has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 23rd.  The morning session presentation will be at 10:15am with lunch at 10:45am with your child.  The afternoon session presentation will begin with lunch at 12:45pm with your child and a presentation at 1:15pm.  Bobbi Stoner will be our guest speaker.  Enjoy lunch with your child and some "me-time" at Head Start!

SCHOOL READINESS GOALS with Fall results and Winter Goals

School Readiness Goals have been established for the 2011-12 school year.  The goals are created from the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and align with Creative Curriculum Objectives.  The goals also match parent-chosen goals for their children as well as essential skills as determined by the Elementary School District for Kindergarteners.  The Fall Checkpoint is completed for each child.  An Agency-wide analysis is available at the link above.
