Mercer County Head Start is currently on schedule with no delays.

Lunch with Mom has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 23rd.  The morning session presentation will be at 10:15am with lunch at 10:45am with your child.  The afternoon session presentation will begin with lunch at 12:45pm with your child and a presentation at 1:15pm.  Bobbi Stoner will be our guest speaker.  Enjoy lunch with your child and some "me-time" at Head Start!

Policy Council

The Policy Council is the formal body of governance through which parents, community representatives, and the Celina City School Board of Education guide policy making and shared program decisions aimed at enhancing the holistic values of the Head Start/Celina Public Preschool Philosophy.

Policy Council Representatives are elected at the beginning of each school year and are asked to attend regularly scheduled meetings and serve on various committees. Policy Council is composed of parents from each Head Start, past parents, and community representatives. They provide input into the program’s operations. All parents are welcome to attend the meetings.
