Enrollment for 2012-2013 School Year.....

Mercer County Head Start program is now enrolling children for the 2012-2013 school year. Children are eligible to participate in the Head Start program by meeting federal income guidelines and eligibility requirements. Head Start is a high-quality; comprehensive early childhood development and education program designed to increase the school readiness of children as well as their preparedness for the future. 

The program also offers a range of free services designed to foster healthy development of young children from age three until the age of five.  Services extended to Head Start children and families include health, education, nutrition, disabilities, mental health and family services. The last day of classes for Franklin Site, Homebase, and Celina Public Preschool is Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Parkway Site last day is Tuesday May 22, 2012

Registration

To register your child you will be asked to bring the following items to our office:

  • Proof of income such as a copy of last year’s income tax form, W-2 form, or paycheck stub
  • The Child’s Birth Certificate
  • The Child’s Immunization Record
